Garry Bridge

  • Tonbridge & Malling Borough Councillor for Vauxhall Ward, Tonbridge

Garry has lived in or around Tonbridge since 1970. He went to school in Tonbridge before gaining a degree in Ancient History and Archaeology at the University of Sheffield. Since graduating Garry has spent most of his career working in customer operations for a financial services company.

Garry has been a member of the Liberal Democrats for over thirty years and has campaigned on local issues for several years. He fought Vauxhall ward in Tonbridge, alongside Frani Hoskins, on two previous occasions, before winning the ward in May 2019. Garry welcomes the opportunity to represent the residents of Vauxhall, in particular, and Tonbridge as a whole, to ensure Tonbridge remains a town people want to live in.

Outside politics Garry has retained an interest in history and is a keen follower of both cricket and football. A lifelong fan of Tonbridge Angels, Garry can usually be found on matchdays at Longmead Stadium supporting the team.
